Available in 60- or 75-minute intervals. 75-minute appointments are intended for clients who wish to engage in EMDR or other trauma-focused treatment. All other individual adult clients should choose a 60-minute appointment.
Individual appointments for adolescents are available as a unique appointment option in the portal, and are offered in 45-minute intervals. Adolescents can request their own appointments, but if you are a parent filling out this form, please indicate that you are filling it out for “someone else.”
Relationship therapy appointments are available in 60 or 75-minute intervals. For those requesting 60-minute sessions, the initial intake appointment may still be up to 90 minutes to allow time for information gathering. Relationships with more than two people should schedule 75-minute sessions. Please indicate that you are filling out the request for “me and my partner.”
Family therapy is available in 60-minute intervals as a unique appointment option in the portal. Please indicate that you are filling out the form for “me” when you request a family session. I will reach out to confirm the members of your family who you would like to include in the therapy.

In-person appointments are available on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

At this time, I am only able to accept clients at tiers 4 and 5. My waitlist for tiers 1-3 is closed.

I am only able to meet with clients virtually if you are in the state of Maryland at the time of our appointments. This is because I am only licensed to practice therapy within the state of Maryland.
You do NOT need to include your “legal” first name, even though it is a required field in the appointment request form, you can just put the name that you would like me to use. The only time I will need your legal name is if you plan to submit for out-of-network insurance reimbursement for our appointments. Out of network benefits cannot typically be used to cover relationship or family therapy.
If you are scheduling for ongoing therapy, please choose an appointment time that you think you will likely be able to attend for at least 6 weeks.
Appointments are scheduled so that I have adequate time in between sessions to rest and prepare for the next. This means that appointments are sometimes on the :15 or :45 minute of the hour.
If you do not see an appointment time that works for you, or if the appointment that works for you is in the next three days and you are unable to choose it in the portal, please email me!
There is no option to indicate a fee tier when you first request an appointment. When I approve your request, I will send additional documents for you to complete before your appointment, including an intake questionnaire to indicate your requested fee. Please prioritize this questionnaire so that I may respond promptly and appropriately to your request.

If after your first appointment, you determine that you would not like to continue with my services, your first appointment will be adjusted to a discounted initial consultation fee based on your tier (please see the cancelation policy on the fees page for more information).
Because of the more intensive nature of relationship work, my intake process for couples and polycules includes two initial sessions. The first is charged the full fee, and if after the second appointment we decide it is not a good fit, I do not charge for the second appointment (essentially evening out so that both appointments are half-off). In addition, if the second appointment is scheduled and then cancelled or unattended, the full fee for the first appointment will remain as charged and not discounted 50%.
