Welcome to Defiant Therapy!

Merriam-Webster defines defiant as:

“full of or showing a disposition to challenge, resist, or fight.”

While the word originates from the French word for “mistrust,” we can reorient to see defiance as

trust in oneself.

When we trust ourselves, we challenge narratives that are imposed upon us to imagine and create our own.

What might you imagine for yourself when you resist these impositions, and embrace defiance?

Hi, I’m Kitt!

I practice therapy as a means to break down systems of oppression through individual and community empowerment and relationship building.

As a nonbinary therapist, I enjoy working “beyond the binary” with all of my clients, helping you hold space for multiple truths while also remaining true to yourself.

This is radical space…

Space to create new narratives, seek authenticity, and discover your expansiveness

Space to care for the parts of you that need tenderness and fierce compassion

Space to get clear about the change you need and the acceptance you deserve
